Depart UK or Ireland
Landing in Moscow afternoon.
Transfer to a hotel. Short Moscow review during transfer.

Day 2
|
Breakfast.
Transfer to Domodedovo airport.
Depart to Mineralnye Vody about noon. Lunch.
Coach transfer to Terskol (4 hours).
Accommodation in local 3* Hotel, bed and breakfast. Sightseeing.

Breakfast in cafe.
Local registration.
Local shopping for food.
Trekking to Terskol River Valley (load - only personal things).

|
Breakfast on a stove or in hotel.
Hike up to Vertoletny (Helicopter) Pass (alt. 3000m) takes 3
hours.

Either on foot from campsite or from hotel.
Return to the camp or hotel. Late lunch.
Return to hotel (5 km), accommodation.
Bathing in sauna.

|
Breakfast
Day hike to Cheget Mt, lunch enroot, high level hike and
back to hotel in evening. |

6
|
Breakfast in hotel, early.
Drive to Azau and take cable car/chair lift to Bochki Barrels
(alt. 3,500m)
Accommodation in Bochki or Glacier House (only for small
groups). Five persons to a room.

Lunch. Cooking in common catering building.
Afternoon - walk up to "Priyut of 11" ("Cabin of 11") for
acclimatisation. Return to Bochki for dinner and overnight.

7
|
Breakfast.
Transfer up to "Priyut of 11" with luggage. Accommodation at "Priyut
of 11". Rooms or dormitories for up to five people per room.
Communal cooking area.

Lunch on stoves.
Training for use of crampons and ice axe. Dinner on stoves.
Night in "Priyut of 11". |

8
|
Breakfast on gas stoves. Walk up to Pastukhov Rocks.
Acclimatisation and training. 4 hours.

9
|
Summit
Day - awake at 2am.
Breakfast on gas stoves.
Summitting - options
1) Walk from Priyut to summit and back will take 10 or 11 hours.
Depart 3am, return in afternoon.
2) For $240 we can hire a ratrack (snow machine) for between 8
or 10 people to take us up to Pasukhov Rocks only and continue
to summit on foot. This saves two hours.

10
|
Reserve day for the second attempt of summit.
If the first attempt succeeded we spend this day in 3*
hotel, have lunch in cafe and do local excursion.

11
|
Reserve day for summit but necessary to descend all the way to
Terskol in one day by using ratrack and cable car. Time will be
limited on this day so it will be necessary to leave mountain by
2pm because cable cars finish at 4pm.
Or: local hiking in and around Terskol and staying in hotel.
Celebration party with local dancers and traditional food.

Breakfast.
Departure from Terskol at 10.00am.
Transfer to MinVody (4 hrs).
Lunch in airport.
Departure about 4pm.
Landing in Moscow Domodedovo airport about 6pm.
Accommodation in hotel about 8pm. Dinner (self paid). |

Moscow
review excursion: all main sightseeing points (7 hours). Self
paid.

Izmailovo gift market near the hotel (1 hour)
Leaving hotel.
